It was fun watching Merlin's character grow last year, but the writers toyed a lot with character relationships for the sake of the plot. This year, the show is entirely too plot-centered. I read a supposed spoiler a couple of weeks ago that I don't believe in the least. At least, I'm trying desperately not to. The source said that the Merlin series finale will end with ( spoilery speculation )

So, I found a crack in my no-fandom armor...I've been keeping up with the spoilers. But I'm still determined to avoid the episode discussions for a while. Speaking of which, ( these are my thoughts on the latest ep. )

WANDERING EYESI personally find Elyan rather boring, and Adetomiwa's voice drives me crazy - through no fault of his own - so I wasn't particularly looking forward to this ep. AMAZE ME
This week's Merlin totally blew me away. It had its usual baddie scheming, tournaments, fight scenes, and Merlin trying to save the day, but the emotional interplay was taken to a whole new level.
